Record Store Day was founded in 2007 and celebrates more than 700 independently-owned record stores in the United States with special performances, festivals, and exclusive vinyl releases. While traditionally held on the third Saturday in April, many locations now opt to celebrate RSD on Black Friday (the Friday after Thanksgiving) as well.

Are you participating in Record Store Day on a local level? Use this Non-Distributed schedule to ensure your records are ready for distribution at least one week before RSD 2012.

Use this Distributed schedule if you're a band or label working directly with a distributor. Most distributors require your records on hand 3 weeks or more prior to street date. The timeline below was created especially for this scenario.
